For more than 30 years Homestretch has helped homeless families in Virginia become self-sufficient by giving them the skills, knowledge and hope they need to become productive participants in the community.
Homeless families flourish in Homestretch because we pay equal attention to the children as well as the adults. We ensure that every child can experience summer like other children. We equip every child with the support he needs to excel in school. We ensure children have books and school supplies, gifts on birthdays and holidays, shoes and clothes for all seasons, tutors to help with tough subjects, eyeglasses and dental care, and trips to parks, ballgames, and museums.
