Serving Northern Virgina / Washington DC Metro Area Customers Since 1987
Because clean groundwater is vital for life, protection and management of this precious resource is crucial. Whether you use private well water or access a public water supply, the safety and quality of your water is the most important variable in the health and well being of your family.
At SES we understand this vital relationship and work hard to serve loyal clients in Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware with individual, public, and community well inspection, water testing and analysis. SES remains successful for one reason – our people. Since 1987 the dedicated team at SES has performed these valuable services for thousands of satisfied clients. At SES, our people are our difference.
Since the EPA regulates public water systems but lacks authority over private wells, the professionals at SES are a trusted source for complete water quality management. Our trained associates practice proper sampling techniques and use certified laboratories for analysis. Because of the constant threat from bacteria, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and heavy metals, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends comprehensive testing for water quality indicators (WQIs) and contaminants every 3 years in addition to an annual coliform test. The FHA and many mortgage lenders also require a real estate transfer inspection with water analysis, including lead and nitrates, prior to title transfer.
The National Ground Water Association (NGWA) recommends well owners test their water:
SES performs the following vital services for owners with private well water:
We also offer annual service plans to ensure safe drinking water. Whether you have a private well, community water system, or a public water supply, we tailor your water service plan to your specific needs. From water testing to comprehensive system inspection, at SES we deliver complete assurance that your water remains healthy and safe.
SES is one of only three businesses to be licensed as a Responsible Management Entity. Loudoun County Virginia was the first in the Nation to establish requirements for an RME based on EPA recommendations. SES manages several communities required to have an RME.
